There wasn't a dull moment at all. The script was very well written and full of humour, slightly reminiscent of Monkey Island but not so much that it took away from the world of Driftmoon.If you're umming and awwing, stop. You won't regret buying this,. This game for me is a lot of fun. It has a great story and lots of fun side quests. The combat is a throw back to older hack and slash games. If you are a looking for a relaxing fun game, give this a try. I guarentee you can't go wrong with this.. A marvellous little gem of a game. I am a fan of big, sprawling RPGs - I love my Witchers, Fallouts, Baludrs, Torments, Dragon Ages and Pillars. This game is nothing like them - it's sort of small, short-ish and compact. All the quests can be quite easily found (at least for a moderately experienced player), just as well as the items and collectibles. The game is finished in six or so hours, with multiple endings taking around twenty minutes to see all. All of this might seem as downright negatives, if your taste in games is anything like mine - yet that would be wrong. The story, characters, humour and game world and lore are sweet, charming and (at moments) surprisingly wise and... human. It's like watching a well-made comedy fairytale like Tangled - sure, it doesn't have the effects of the newest Hollywood spectacle or depth of Bergman.. but still it provides you with a smile, fun and good feelings for the time spent with it. Highly recommended, especially if you are getting older and your Steam library is getting overcrowded with daunting, massive games. You'll be pleasantly surprised how great is it to play something tranquil and (in the best meaning of the word) simple as this.. This is a great game, great characters and choices that can really impact the ending. The way it bring the characters to life startled me and the humor can bring a smile to your face faster than you think.. Charming and very enjoyable little indie RPG. This game can't compete with the big RPGs out there, and while there's isn't all much depth to the story, characters or systems, the game makes up for it with loverly, charming, lighthearted writing that's impossible not to like. must play adventure RPG. I really like this game, inspite of it being a quite linear RPG, which I normally hate. Driftmoon has very good balancing, some good humor and story, and a nice pacing.The game isn't for everyone, and that's okay.. A basic but decent RPG. I liked the tone and setting, but I found a lot of the dialogue was a bit dry and wordy. Still, good RPGs are rare and this is one you can thump through in a weekend.. Even though the story is linear, its well thought-out and detailed. The gameplay is simple, yet fun.A decent indie game for sure.
